What is my rhetorical situation?

How do media and celebrities affect a women’s body image?

Purpose
To give information to teens, parents who have children, and teachers.
To help give them confidence and respect their own body.

Audience
Teenage children, Parents, Teachers.The research will also enlist people who related and worked to the media.

Personal Context
I was one of a girl who had low self-esteem and try to lost weight for appearances. I got strong influences by media. That is reason why I choose this topic for my writing.

Drafting a Thesis Statement

Precise Claim
The media should show and teach about the real body image and real beauty.

Reasons/Blueprint
The body image by the media is strong influences to teen children. That could cause not only eating disorder, but also low- self-esteems and more.
People should respect who we are.
Appearance is not all.
Female can do more than just care about appearance.

Complete Thesis Statement
The media should show the real body image to people because it would give people to encourage.

May not. The today’s society is still obsessed with appearances. They can find those issues everywhere. They might not agree until the media completely change the ideal body image which they show in the media.

The appearances give people confidences and motivation.

The losing weight is good for the obesity person. The media might give them influences to try on diet.

The teen obesities are also one of the serious problems just as well as the eating disorder.
