I learned that knowing my audience would help me to narrow focus on my research question. The step by step approach is really helpful to think about my writing. Thinking of a question that I would like to answer and then narrowing a topic down through research is very effective. (Chapter3)
Also, the questions from web-sites (Rhetorical Situation) help me to focus on my research question.
